Rose Acres Wildlife Refuge Acquired by the Buffalo Audubon Society in 1975, Rose Acres Wildlife Refuge consists of 53 acres, of which contain a 5-acre pond, upland woods and a small cottage. It is located about 3 miles southeast of Beaver Meadow Nature Center on Java Lake Road.
