Olcott Overlook of Lake Ontario   (Town of Newfane)  Olcott provides one of the few public overlooks of Lake Ontario in the Town of Newfane.  The park includes the view of Eighteen-mile Creek Significant Coastal Fish and Wildlife Habitat.  "Sea ducks" (e.g., scoters, oldsquaw) and other diving ducks (e.g. common merganser, bufflehead) are commonly seen from here between October and April.  It is also a good spot to scan for gulls.
