Niagara
River Anglers Association's chief purpose is to promote and preserve good fishing and the
environment in the Niagara River area. This group is dedicated to a clean
environment, education, and the preservation of wildlife.
NRAA
has been stocking the Niagara River with walleye for over 10 years. This year,
approximately 17,000 walleye were released into the river. The NRAA also maintains a
60 acre Wilderness Preserve, and has protected fish spawning beds by posting Sunken Island
in the upper Niagara River. The NRAA Youth Club was created to educate young people
in the outdoors. Visit the NRAA's website at
http://www.niagarariveranglers.com.
